Short and to the point. Wish we could've gotten a little more development. They story had a nice premise. Not bad.
Love love love this book about a grieving husband with 2 kids and the nanny who came to work f or him a change his life around for the better. Was a great read could not put the book done until I was done.
I enjoyed this book very much. I love the kinda taboo relationship between a nanny and her ward(the father). Cherie and Ricks having feelings for each other and being afraid to say anything was understandable, but when they revealed it to each other that's when the fireworks happened. "I received an ARC at no cost to the author."
Cherie interviews for the nanny position working for Rick after the loss of his wife during childbirth. Three years later the couple is in love but neither willing to admit it. Everything comes to a head when Cherie overhears Rick telling a friend that the kids are the only reason she is still around. Cute short read and a nice HEA for this couple.
Cherie never dreamed that when she went to interview for a nanny position that she would get the job an oh so much more. For Cherie, it was love at first sight after meeting her new little charges, getting to spend time with their widowed father was just and added perk to her new position. When Cherie and Rick realize that loving the kids is not the only love they share, will they be able to turn their boss-employee relationship into a more personal and permanent one?
If you're looking for a quick read with some hot and steamy love scenes, I think you'll enjoy Stay. This book is great for many of us who need our romantic fix in the form of a short story that we can read in a short period of time. I give it 3 stars!
Stay has been one of my go to books by Reana Malori whenever I have nothing good to read. I first read Cherie and Rick's story a few years ago and fell in love with their story. Even though it was a short story, it didn't feel rushed and incomplete. You got a lot of background about the development of the relationship between the two characters without feeling cheated. The chemistry between Rick and Cherie when they got together was EVERYTHING!! I personally WISHED it was longer simply because it was so dang good and well written. I've yet to read a bad book from Reana Malori. Would recommend this story and all of Reana Malori's books
